I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) therapist in Washington State. I grew up in Henderson, Nevada, where I received my Bachelor's of Human Services Counseling and Master's of Social Work degree at University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). I was involved in the mental and behavioral health community working with various populations to reduce mental health stigma and empower self-compassion. I moved to Washington State in 2015 to continue my passion of improving the mental and behavioral health field. I received my Doctor of Social Work (DSW) degree from Walden University where my thesis was focused on self-care using self-compassion theory. I want to use this passion in helping others through therapy services.
I have been a social worker for over 16 years and am passionate about helping others and self-care. My experiences includes behavioral and mental health, healthcare, working with various populations, such as adults, adolescences, older adults, early childhood, teenagers, and animals. My counseling approach is client centered, strengths perspective, multicultural, inclusivity, gender affirming, neurodivergent affirming, and solution focused while providing a safe, non-judgmental, and respectful environment for the therapeutic relationship. I am also a certified heart centered hypnotherapist. I want to help you learn how to help yourself.
